Codes 12 and 13
I have a 93 yota pickup (4x4,5 speed) and i just did a top rebuild to the engine(22re EFI). originally just to replace my timing chain, but also did new water pump, fuel filter, O2 sensor(pre cat), dist. cap, plugs, plug wires, new belts, new hoses, etc.. Now when i take off from a dead start i lose power in 1st like I'm not getting enough gas (bogs down, rpms drop, truck jerks) but the engine does not die or throw a check engine light. Diagnostics throws a code 12 and 13. This leads me to believe it has something to do with the dist. cap. My friend thinks it is my fuel pump. I don't have the money to take it to a dealership for a hardcore diagnostic check....
Anyone else have similar problems?
If so whats the cheapest fix?
PS. this problem did not occur before the rebuild.
i will post pics/video soon.
