Clutch, tranny driveshaft squeek in Rev.?

My 4runner recently got COVERED in mud. If I put it in reverse, there is a squeek that comes out from underneath once I start rolling backwards. What could be making this squeek? I figure its one of the three, tranny driveshaft or clutch. When I push in the clutch once I'm rolling back it goes away. ANy clues?

go to the carwash and high-pressure wash all your drivetrain components....that's what i would do first.

I did Powerwash all the wheels, diff, Tcase and X-mission, but i just looked under it and I guess I didn't do the front of the Tcase where the front driveshaft comes out good enough. theres some dirt up in there. I might take off the skid plate and parts around that driveshaft to clean it out by hand a bit.

Shot u-joint dude. Get it fixed or you will become a pedestrian! Dont grab it feeling for looseness, take it out and move each joint on both axis. I bet one will be stiff, dry etc.

lift the back wheels off the ground and pop it in reverse, see if you can isolate exactly where the sound is coming from...i'd do that before replacing u-joints....
