Clutch spongy, found this leak
I found this leak, after noticing my clutch fluid was low. I am a novice mechanic, but am enjoying DIY repair and this seems like its within my skillset. I have replaced a slave cylinder before.
My diagnosis is a faulty hose, but I am unfamiliar with how the line & hose are coupled. Could this be the line thats faulty? Should I just replace hose, line, and slave cylinder?
Would appreciate some advice!

I recently replaced that hose on my truck.
I would recommend removing the soft line, the hard line to the slave and the slave cylinder as a unit.
You can then dissasemble and reassemble everything on the workbench instead of in the engine bay where there is no room.

Spongy clutch could be air in the lines, failing rubber line, bad slave cyl or bad master cyl, or cracked clutch bracket. Look at the bracket with a flashlight while you press the clutch pedal (set parking brake/chock wheels 1st, obviously!) If bracket is okay, I'd try replacing the soft line and fully flushing the fluid/bleeding with a good DOT 4 fluid first. (DOT 4 is basically a better DOT 3 - higher boiling temp and absorbs less moisture - and is fully compatible with DOT 3.) If it's still spongy after that work, and you replaced the slave not too long ago, it's probably the master. The stock Aisin cyls are much better than any other. The Wabbit's Wabfab offers very good prices, and so does autohausaz.com. I've been a happy customer of the latter for many years, and they offer free ground ship if order is over $50.
Bleeding becomes a super easy job with one of these:

Wow. What pain in the ass that hose was to change out... not much wrenching room. The 10mm Flare wrench was critical. Flushed the system too, all set now. I started to remove the slave cyl, but realized that it wasnt really going to save me any time so I left it on there. I used a shorty flathead screwdriver on the bracket clips - is there a better way to remove those? That was a pain, but I got it.
Thanks for the help everyone... After spending so much time on the clutch I noticed a creaking noise at the pedal getting worse, and I think it could be the bracket breaking like in this thread:

Thanks for the help with everything. I'll update about the bracket issue...
