clutch install ?s
I installed my clutch about a month ago and was a little confused on the way the disk went. I believe the side with the springs sticking out the farthest was facing the tranny. Now I'm replacing one on a 2000 and it looks like the old clutch has the side with the springs sticking out facing the flywheel. I'm a little confused as to which is the proper way. Neither disc look as if they have any markings as far as directions. Also what will happen if the disc is backwards?

Generally the side of the clutch disc with the shaft sticking out faces the tranny. The flattest side (when considering the entire face) mounts facing the flywheel.
In other words, you had it right the first time.
