Clurtch Slave
Previous owner said it was leaking on this 3.0 manual tranny. Went to parts store, was cheap, bought one. Lost instructions on changing it. I found it on the tranny, but honestly the thing looks like something my parents would have given me as a toy when I was a kid, and I remember something saying something about bleeding it, and there is a grease port thing with no bearing. Anyone familiar?

That's not a grease port, it's the bleed valve. As for changing it it's as easy as it looks. Undo the fluid line, unbolt the cylinder, bolt the new one on and reattach the line. Bleed it as follows:
1. Remove any old fluid from clutch master and fill with DOT3 brake fluid
2. Attach some tubing to the bleed valve and put the other end of the tubing into a container
3. Open bleed valve on slave about 1/2 turn
4. Get someone to push the clutch pedal to the floor and hold it there while you tighten the bleed valve.
5. Repeat 3 and 4 until no more bubbles come out, making sure the master doesn't go empty

Also if it's not already out of fluid just know that when you take off the line if you don't open the valve first to let out the fluid you will get a shower of DOT3 fluid on you and that stuff will eat through paint VERY fast.
