clunk after procomp lift

Hey all, installed a procomp stage 2 lift on my 89 4runner not too long ago. Works great in 2wd, but took it out in the snow were getting up here in the pnw and after engaging 4wd the front passenger clunks really bad. It seems to come and go and is slightly improving. But at the beginning something would "bind up" so bad when I tried to accelerate the motor would almost stall out under the weight of the vehicle trying to move. Really weird stuff. What do you guys think?

Not that I can see, what would I be looking for? Metal hitting metal I assume. Nothing looks like it's rubbing

Hows the angle on the front d-line? Too steep and it'll bind like said above.

Just took it for a drive, made no noise till I turned right. And its definatly coming from the front pass wheel area

I'm starting to think the CV may be the issue, would that explain the problem only being in 4wd?

Well yeah. If it only does it in 4wd, thats the only time the CV's would be in use. Plus the whole doing it while turning.

I was thrown off because I've never heard clunks, just snaps and clicks but that was in my Subaru and gti. Bigger axels=bigger sounds! Thanks guys. I'll just keep an eye on it

I'm a Suby guy too and I've heard all kinds of nasty sounds out of the cv's.
