The little metal clips that hold the brake pads tight to the caliber are worn out on mine..I have the rattle.. I have checked Napa , Advance and Autozone... Is there a redneck fix for this?

 

go to the dealer and get new ones ya cheapo lulz

its prolly a lot more expensive, not to mention time consuming, to try to find something to make work.

yea, well the dealer will likely tell you that you need to buy the whole brake assembly to get the clip

popsicle sticks and bubble gum, 60% of the time, it works every time

 

Duct tape and bailing wire! Quality products that work the first time are overrated anyways.

 

I found out I was missing one on my last job when I got halfway in to it and used cotter pins from the toolbox to hold the pins in. I haven't noticed any rattle either.

I bet the clips are cheap even by stealer terms. Maybe under $50 or so for them...

 

50 bucks? I just keep turning the radio up loud...
