clicking popping coming from front of truck

clicking popping coming from front of truck
I have a 95 v6 4runner and for the past month now i have noticed clicking and poping coming the front part of my truck. It almost always happens when the motion of the truck is changed like if im braking turning acceclerting etc. one of my buddies told me to check the cv boots and cv joints but there fine...any ideas?

)How did you determine it wasn't the CV's? IOW, how'd you check them?
