Clicking noise while in 4wd

Theres a loud clicking noise (over the engine) coming from the front while im in 4wd.. i just changed the oil in it and the old oil wasnt dirty.. i have locking hubs and it clicks with them locked and free.. also i have a leaking seal on the right side of the diff, would this have anything to do with it? i went under the truck and shook both cvs there is NO play in them.. with the hubs locked and i switch out of 4wd the noise goes away! also there is no noise going backwards.. of course i didnt go over 10 mph going backwards.. the noise starts when im going about 10-15 mph any thoughs? u joints? i have had the 33s and locking hubs on awhile before this started and have used 4wd with no noise. At first i thought it mit be dirt grinding around in the leaking oil.. but i cleaned it good with Brake Cleaner at work still a noise!

even though you have locking hubs you should still have ADD... my first thought is that your ADD isnt engauging all the way, thus clicking.

My rear end clicked when I chiped a tooth on the R&P.. have you been wheeling it hard. A shock can break gears even if you dont have lots of power applied...

the light, i beleive, is acuated by a engauged ADD, so that would be good....

Does the click increase with speed, or is it constant?

Since the noise is not there with the hubs locked in 2wd, but it is in 4wd it sounds like driveshaft.. That and the ADD sleve are the only thing not "moving" when you are locked in 2wd....
