clear tail lights for my 94?

Im looking for some tail lights that are white and red or just clear for my 94. I have clear corners up front and I don't like the amber colors on the back, it would look so much cleaner if the tail lights were clear and red.. Anyone seen anything at all? I cant find anything :-/

Thanks

Chris

Ebay. I've got a set on my 94. Just do a search for Toyota altezza lights or something similar.

I had to modify the housing a tad, just needed to grind off a tab that was causing it to be off a little bit.

I'm going to be getting some clear corner's and possibly bottom marker lights here soon I hope.

i have these RED-CLEAR on my truck and they fit great. just go to the dealer and get new gaskets before you install them. shipping on them was actually pretty quick for something that was coming from the other side of the world. i think it took a week and a day total.

i think he has a 94 4Runner. so he would need something more along the lines of:

clear and red

or this, all clear

Clear turn signal lenses are great...

...IF you don't want drivers behind you to see your signal! In other words, they're less visible in the daytime, which makes them lame.

That probably depends on what brand you buy from. I'm sure you could also buy brighter bulbs that would help illuminate the lenses. I've had no horns honked at me or accidents with my clears installed.

If you wanted all red tails you can just go to the store and buy a can of red stained glass spray paint and paint the orange red. I did this to my 4runner and it looks amazing and it only costs $5.00!!! I got my paint from fred meyers, it was the only place i could find it. I could post a pic if you are interested. This also made my tails look brand new, the orange was fading a bit.

^ IIRC, its impossible as the color is integrated into the plastic.

Those look pretty cool, but I would worry about them leaking when it rains or getting dust inside.

I think that is what Robert meant when he said to get the gaskets to seal it all up.

No. It's pretty obvious that the 4runner lights are not the same as the trucks if you take a minute to look. The 4runner lights are replaced as the whole unit NOT just the lense.

You can either do like my old ones:

But good luck finding them on ebay. I sold my when I sold the 4runner and they got me something like $200 on ebay.

OR the 1/2 clear and red but with intergrated reverse lights.

Either way you will have to order these from overseas, Japan or Austraila. Just make sure if you get the all clear you buy the higher priced bulbs from Japan that acutally light up RED. During the day it's noticeable that it's only a red bulb but at night the whole lense is nice and red.
