So I have the lovely squeeking speedo cable. Thw cheepest I have seen the OEM is about $79.

I called Napa because I have searched and learned that they have one for half the price. Well, more like $18.99!!!

So here is the kicker, it is for the 89-92 MY. I have a 95...

I have learned, also through the search button, that 93-94 MY went to a speed sensor. 95 got the cable again. I looked on TOYOMOTOPARTS and it seems that the parts are the same for, say, a 91 and a 95.

At last, the question. Can anyone confirm if I have done the correct guessing and can depart to NAPA and gladly give them my hard earned greenbacks to stop the squeeking and the ability to use my cruise control again with out it freaking out on me?

Chirping speedo is definitely going to be a cable issue, I've lubricated mine and had it go away temporarily but it always comes back. My speedo is currently unhooked until I get a new cable. As far as interchangeable between years I couldn't tell you though.
