Chevy Spring Swap

I just picked myself up a set of 63" springs to install in my 89 Pickup. I had some questions for those of you who have installed them.

What are the measurments for moving the front hanger? I have seen one guy go 11" and another reccommend 9 1/2". Anybody have any advice? Also, I don't know how to weld so I was going to buy front hangers. What have you guys used for front hangers? I saw that Jeep CJ hangers are used but what year and what model or does it matter?

Also, what did you guys do about bushings i.e. bushings for where the Toyota shackle connects to the Chevy shackle? I am planning on using the double shackle set up to save money and keep my rear Toyota hanger.

Any other things you guys might reccommend?

yep...to clear things up you need to move it 11inches forward from hole to hole. and the rear hanger gets weld in butted up behind the facotry one. do yourself a favor and weld the passenger side ones more towards the outside of the frame so the spirings will not hit the gas tank...goodluck

so it is 11 inches forward for the 89 pickup? i looked at sky's kit but its $120. trying to keep it at a budget and that would have been over half my budget. anything for bushings guys?
