I recently bought a wiring harness and ecu for my 91 toyota. they where from an 89 and everything hooked up perfect except the two main plugs they where small then the 91 plugs so I spliced the two plugs and matched them color for color and made sure there was no wires touching...when I turn the key switch over it no check engine light but when I turn truck to off postion check emgine light comes on and is kind of dim. im lost as the 89 and 91 colors should match. any help thatnls

 

Don't count on the wires matching colors. What did you do for wires of the same color? There is a web site that you can download the wiring diagrams from, but I forget the name of it for now.... Maybe somebody else on here will know it.

 

I have diagram and ever wire is the same I think it may be because I havent hooked my injector ground up yet and wiill get that asap
