The temp sensor exists just to satisfy the emissions Nazis that exhaust gasses are actually passing thru the egr valve and thus warming it up.

I have a 1995 4Runner FED/Canada spec (5 speed manual), that does have the EGR temp sensor.
Might be enlightening to compare auto to auto and manual to manual ECU numbers between Cali and FED spec trucks, with and without the temp sensor.

So I was just looking around an came across another pt#
There is the 82824-35020 for 1992.02 - 1993.09 which Jordan found.
And
There is the 82824-32030 for 1993.09 - 1995.01
Apparently the later is showing still available at a couple of places I poked around on.
