check engine light

1988 4runner, 22RE, 5 speed. The check engine light comes on at 25 mph. I can't get the light to flash a code. I looked at Roger Browns page, but the Fp doesn't have a metal prong. Do I hook E1 and E2?

Jump the terminals "t" & "e1" then you should get some codes out of it. Once you get the codes, go here:
