Check engine light
So my truck has been driving a little week powered. I unbotled the cat to see if was bad. I drove it down the road and could here a little missing sound if I floored it also no power, it felt like it was trying to pull me back a little. I put injector cleaner through the vaccum system and gas tank. I didnt here the missing sound but still had weak power. no when I gas it and then let off the throttle the check engine light come on for a few seconds then turns off. same thing if I do a rev and back off the light will come on. any explanations?

have you tried pulling the codes? jumper the t1 and E terminals in the diagnosis terminal and turn the ignition to the "on" position. count the CEL flashes and theres your code.

I dont know what the T1 and E terminals are but Im not completely stupid on engines. "code the cel flashes" is foreign too. Update the truck also if I floor it rpms go up then engine literally cuts all power as if I turned the key to off but more of a pull jurk back and the check engine light comes on. hell it does it trying to cruise too but less jurasic.

Google.com
Pulling the CEL.

Look for section: Timing and Diagnostic Check Connector location(s)
In your engine bay there is a terminal/gray box thingy around the battery area. You take a paper clip and jump the terminals the person posted above. You turn the ignition key in the truck and the CEL will flash. You count the flashes and google/look up the CEL. From the sounds of it you will probably get code 25 which is o2 sensor, TPS, or other things.

Oops, I meant "COUNT" not "CODE" the flashes. Fixed it.
but uh yeah. Like BoostinChick said, jump the T1 and E terminals in the diagnosis box in the engine bay. It should be right next to the fuse box on the passenger's side behind the battery (towards the firewall). Post up the codes if you get any and we can help you!
