check engine light

The truck is a 95 3.0 4x4. The check engine light has been on for a while now. I'm trying to make this quick so I'm just going to give some symptoms. I have yet to check code from research sounds like a 25/26 or something. Crank truck after it hasn't been ran for over 12 hours and it wants to warm up acts like its not gettin gas when you try to go. After a good 30 seconds the truck idles up to 1500 rpm and gets gas fine. After warmed up truck idles back down to 1000. When I get on the rode as I get into usually second gear and around 2000 rpm the check engine light comes on and I can immediately feel a loss of power. Almost as if the truck just bogs down. Any ideas?

under the hood on the right side there is a diag box you need to jump a wire acrost 2 of those terminals the same ones to do timing it should tell you which those are on the underside of your hood then turn your egnition to on and count how many times your eng light flashes

under the hood, find the diagnostic plug behind the battery.
insert jumper between the TE1 and E1 terminals- there should be a diagram on the underside of the lid.
turn key on (don't start) and count the flashes.

the knock sensor is the worst thing to replace lol :/ it senses a spark knock condition in your engine and lets your ecu know to advance the timing to compensate if your standing in front of your truck the wires come out fron under the right fuel rail between injectors for cylenders 4 and 6

no its telling you there is a malfunction the ecu should compensate for it and you would never know
thebook says it could be 3 things and i doubt it would be the third
1open or short in knock sensor circuit
2knock sensor(loosness ect.)
or 3 ecm
