changing crank seal

What all would I have to take off to replace a crank seal on the front of the engine? I have a oil leak coming from there.

Well I need to know how to remove a crank pulley. How do I keep it from turning while turning the bolt?

First you need to tell the forum what engine and vehicle you have.

Not to sound like a jerk, but I would recommend that you pick up a manual. It will answer 99% of the questions you are going to have. Since you are going to have to remove the timing belt to replace the crank seal and depending on how many miles you have your engine, you might as well replace the timing belt and water pump. Good luck
