CCA needed for a 22re?

Since I'll probably be buying another battery this week I'd like to get the correct one for the rig. Can one of you tell me what the Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) rating should be for a battery used to start a 22re?

Thank you.

cold cranking amps is more for cold weather starting. If your area you live in gets below -10*C like where i live. The higher cca's help when its cold out. Since batterys get weaker in the cold thats what cca. On my redtop i think it has like 900cca? more then enough for -30*C starts.

Is it possible to get a battery that is too big? I'm looking to grab a Yellow Top if my Red Top can't be brought back to life and was thinking a bigger battery might be better since I'm adding some more lights.

Thanks for the help.

Go as big as you want. It is not a problem.
