alllright me being a retard i decided i should fix my carb...just had the fuel a little high in the sight glass, so i took off the top pretty effortlessly bent the float down a hair or too and now it wont stop flowing fuel into the intake...WTF i bent it back where it was and still does it...did i bend something els? help

 

and to help further my understaning of the float, i thought it just metered the fuel into the bowl, not into the intake? so im lost at why fuel is pouring into my intake? it's coming out of the venturi like its supposed to but its just pouring...i thought if it overflowed it came out somewhere els??

 

sounds like it is letting too much fuel into the bowl and it is pouring out the overflows into the carb throat.
i bit the bullet and got a webber. not a problem in 2 years. worth the $

 

yeah i kno, but it was running fine before i bent the stupid float and i bent it back to where it was and now no workie

 

ofg nevermind, i just looked harder and the valve fell out...must have when i bent it the first time....yay go me
