I don't believe there is a handle that extends from the front of the seat. There's likely a piece there that looks like it could hold a handle, but it's really for a spring to help pull the seat forward. I don't believe the passenger seat is adjustable. It only slides forward and back from the side handle. I'll have to look at mine again to be sure. But I'm almost positive there shouldn't be a handle on the passenger seat.
