can't find rear motor mount!!!!
Ok guy's don't laugh, but am in the middle of a clutch replacement on a 1992 ,3.0, 5spd., 4wd & have gotten everything removed EXCEPT the top bell housing bolt & the "REAR" motor mount, because I can't find it!!!!! & it won't let the motor drop to get the top bolt. This is not my first rodeo, but we have been all over this thing, & can't find a REAR motor mount.
Someone out there please help !

There are three motor mounts, kind of. There are two actual motor mounts, one on either side of the engine. And there is one transmission mount that mounts the transmission to the crossmember. You could call it a motor mount if you'd like.

Thanks for the info, am only working with a Chiltons, & all they say is remove "rear motor mount", but there ain't one!! any tips on accessing the top bolt on bell housing ? can see from drivers side wheel well, but no way to get to it. am dropping trans. slowly, but motor won't tip to rear to get to bolt! do I need to loosen side motor mounts to get it to flex? have never run into this before. will double check everything tomorrow

x2 on the two side mounts + transmission mount.
For the top bellhousing bolt, a couple of ways but both will need 18-24" of extensions + u-joint (or wobble end on the extension closest to the bolt), attach the socket and extensions to the bolt and run them along the top of the trans such that you can attach a socket wrench from inside the cab through the shifter whole, or with a jack under the transmission/transfer case, unbolt the trasmission crossmember and lower the back of the transmission enough gain access to that bolt from under the truck. Its a pain, but doable.
