I have a 91 p/u ext cab v6 2wd and my dad has a 92 f150 long bed strait 6 and he's going to junk it, is there anything useful I can get from this, the only problem is freeze plug rusted out but that's it

 

sure if you want to do alot of custom work to make it fit your truck. otherwise just part it and buy parts that were made for toyotas.

that's probably about it; I honestly wouldn't want many FORD parts on my TOYOTA anyway, lol

but I did recently install a pair of horns off a wrecked Expedition

actually now that i think of it u have 2wd so maybe the rims and tires too? i know they are five lug, and 2wd should be also. dunno if bolt patterns the same tho

lol, oh yeah, cause the front fenders would bolt right up huh can't believe I never thought of that... there's tons of Fords in the junk yards around here but hardly any Toys. Look's like I may be scavenging off some Fords on the next trip...

Yeah dude the factory Toy horn is weak to say the least... it might help, if that one on the Ford is still working great

 

ford full size 5 lug size is bigger yota 5 lug. check the rim size should be 15's or 16's the tires might fit on ur rims... grab the battery if it still holds a charge.

 

If it has the YORK a/c compressor, keep it.

 

Doesn't the f150 have dana 44 axles? Those might be useful.

 

Thats what I was thinking too, if your Toy needs any bodywork you could always graft some sheet metal from Ford's hood or something.

 

f150's had 8.8's. It would be a major step up if u were a Heep guy considering the old heep cj patern was the same. not so much for the yotas though. IMOP dana 44's are junk. I've seen those break too easy all the time.

 

Really? While Dana does have a lot of junk out there, I've been made to believe their axles are actually pretty damn good.

I think the whole front end will swap over. Should be a bolt on mod. Just use some Bondo to fill the minor gaps it will produce.

Toyota 4X4 axles>dana 44's .... toyota 4X4 axles<dana 60's. I would never swap mine for 44's anyways although front u joints/axleshafts are alot easier to change than birfs.
