I have a 95 SR5 4x4 3vze with the A340H. My transmission case developed a crack and is leaking badly. I found an A340F from a Tacoma locally, and was wondering if it would work for me?

From what I can find the difference is the transfer case. If this is the only difference can I just swap the transfer case from my existing tranny to the new one?

Is it possible to use by changing to the taco TCase shifter?

aw4 trans will swap with a lil wiring and then you can use a 300 atlas transfer clock it and be gear driven an has lower gear to help the 3.0 make the wheels spin!
im seriously think about this option myself!

That sounds like a good option. Might be a little easier to find also. I will do some searches on that swap. Thanks for the idea.
