Can brakes un-warp?
It seems like once every two months or so my brakes will pulse and vibrate under light to moderate braking and then be fine again in a day or two. I've driven vehicles with warped rotors and it's a very close match to what I experience (occasionally). I had them checked the last time it was in the shop and everything checked out OK.
They work great, so it's not a big deal, but it sure is strange.
Anyone got any ideas?

If the rotors heat up enough I guess theoretically it could un-warp itself. Just check the rotor for grinding, have it lathed if it is and can be cut (if its not already at minimum thickness), and check the pads and either replace if they're that bad, or sand down if they're just glazed.

They're not warping, they're getting pad material deposited on them unevenly. You probably initiate it by getting them very hot, then holding them at a light or something. No big deal if it goes away in a couple days. If it lasts you can sand the rotors w/ garnet paper.
Here's an article about it, talks about racecars but you can easily get the brakes on your truck just as hot coming down a mountain road or something like that.....:

If I think my brakes are hot and have to stop for a light I come to a nice easy stop and just let it sit if it's on level ground or use the ebrake to hold it in place......

Here's another good article on the 'warped rotor myth'
