Calipers sticking?
Are your brake calipers sticking? If so you may can fix them for $0.My right cal. stuck on the way home from work today,I had to limp home in 2nd gear.Got out, smoke was rolling, that tattle-tale burnt smell.Jacked it up,I couldn't turn it with a 40 foot gin pole.I took the swamper off,it was hot!I unbolted the caliper, with the pipe still hooked up,and pryed it off the rotor. My wife had to crank the engine to pump piston out of the cal. After the lower 2 were out it was easy to see that rust was the problem.Rust outside the piston seal!I took my knife and shaved the rust out until the piston moved freely.BTW I took the seal out to clean and to keep from cutting it.Reinstalled every thing and bled the cal. and good as new.It may last another 250k!

I'd replace them before you lite your rig on fire. I've actually gotten a rotor on my old truck glowing orange because of this. You can get loaded calipers for a pretty resonable price. I would also check your bearings, chances are if you got it that hot they did too. For a city driven vehicle it may be ok, but I wouldn't even mess with trying to repair because it would be my luck that I'd be in the middle of knowhere when it happens again. Next time they may never move again.
