cab question

what's up guys,
is there any difference between the 2wd cab and 4wd cab.
(couldn't find this question on the search page)

Question cab diferences?

The problem is that i need to replace the cab on my 86 4x4, and i check local bone yards, there's always 2x4 but not 4x4, Thank s.

The hole for the shifter is smaller for the 2wd. If you are putting a 2wd cab on a 4wd chassis, you will need to cut the hole larger to accomidate the transfercase shifter.

Other then that they are the same.

ya besides shifter hole they are the same but the 4x4 fenders are flared more than 2wd fenders.

cab question

the hole for the shifters may be easy, and the fenders will be the same i have 'not bad shape' sorry there's no pictures, my son's on vacations, I don't know how to put them here. thanks alot, : happy hollydays :
