Cab Corner Collapse
Hey I recently went to a body shop and they informed me that my inner cab corner on the driver side had collapsed.
Basically it rusted on the horizontal on the inner wall and at some point it must have given out and overlapped on itself
you can see in the picture that the lines on the side are not even, its about an 1 1/2" out
Any ideas on how to fix this? I don't have a place to work on it for a extended period of time.

Can you get some pictures from the underneath side or possibly lift the carpet and see what is going on under there? My guess is you are going to need to have the floor or body mount built back up. Some one that can weld could put in a patch panel or form a new body mount for you.

The one showing the body mount, I was expecting to see it up inside the cab some. From my point of view, the floor looked like it is solid, unless it collapsed furhter out then what is showing. Is the body/rubber mount itself collapsed?

I had it looked at and the body to frame rubber is fine showing no signs of collapse. It seems to have simply collapsed to that height and not since moved

Ya i wish it were that easy. I may just get some braces put in to stop it were it is for now. I can't take the truck off the road at the moment, I need it everyday
