so...there's 2 connectors on the lines near where they go thru the firewall...Which one do I hook the hose onto to charge it up? I have R12 (shhhhh) and it's a 90 4wd truck with 3.0 thanks!

Are you starting from scratch? If so, you need to evac the system first. Usually when filling, you'll be connected to both sides. You'll need to watch you low and hi side readings as you fill it.

The connectors wont interchange, so putting it on the wrong one shouldn't be a problem.

PS- having R12 isnt illegal if it was bought pre-ban (at least here in FL).

sometimes it will say either h for high or l for low on the caps and or they will be colored either red for high and blue for low. on that truck im sure its the one closest to the firewall.

not illegal for me to have, i have my epa card, now letting it off into the air is another thing....system hasn't been open and PO says AC always worked good so I'm hoping it's just a touch low.

Small hardline is Hi-pressure, Larger line is Low pressure.

btw the red and blue was only on the r134a systems....most R12 systems just used black or green caps
