A/C Quits when hot
I have been battling the AC on my 95 4Runner this summer. I keep it in the garage which stays fairly cool. If I turn the AC on when I start the truck up from being cold it works fine for about 20min or so then I can't get it to work again. If it has been parked outside, it will run for 1min then not anymore. I can feel the clutch kick in and back out right away but the light on the dash stays lit. I thought it just was low on refrigerant so I checked that but it wasn't the problem. I know its not the clutch or the compressor. What do you guys think?

remove and carefully clean the evaporator unit under the glove box. Replace the expansion valve while you're in there. Did this to 2 of my 4runners with the same issue and they both blew FRIGID after.
