A/C Drier Help

I have an '87 Toyota truck that I am redoing the A/C on. I am currently replacing the drier and I do not know which way the "IN" fitting should face. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here's a drawing:

"IN" comes from the condenser (which comes from the compressor, in the direction of refrigerant flow). "OUT" connects to the line crossing back in front of the condenser, on its way to the firewall, to the cooling unit.

Thank you so much. I thought I had it correct but I have heard it can make a mess if you put it in backwards.
