Hello, Does anyone know or has anyone ever swapped the air conditioning components from a 4runner to a pickup with different engines? I currently have a 1992 22re pickup and was looking at a 4runner that was being parted out, though it is V6. Thanks!

I added a/c into my 22re pickup years ago, one thing I learned is try to source a refurbished Denso compressor, I went through 4 from the yota yard and all of the clutches were gone and you cannot get a rebuild kit anymore (at least at the time I was doing it in 2012). Over the next two years I fought with getting a refurbished compressor that worked, once I finally got a denso I have been working since 2014, again just my experience but something to think about good luck!!!! There are lots of other threads also on this swap you should be good on info!!!!
