buying a 4runner?
Thinking about buying a 94-96 4runner w/ v6 4x4. What are some of the pros and cons of these. Any owners have any complaints about them? Thanks for your help

Yep that's right don't buy an auto. Mine kinda drives me crazy, but it does get the job done and it makes wheeling A LOT easier. Everyone always talks about Head Gasket problems on the 3.0's but I know of plenty people (like myself) who have got the recall done and had no problems with it whatsoever. So just make sure that recall was done on the 4runner. One main thing is that these are 4wheeling machines!! I have been running pretty worn out tires on mine for a year and still never been stuck! That includes some mud, lots of deep snow, steep hills, and water crossings. However, have dumped about maybe $3000 worth of repairs into my 93', in one year. But hey I love it and once i get everything running good im depending on it to run for another 200,000 miles!
peace.
