Busy Weekend

My dad came down for Dads Day at my fraternity, but while he was here we got alot of stuff done on my truck. we got a single chamber IMCO Performance exhaust. after my leaf conversion the exaust was cut right at the muffler so the fumes would just sit under the cargo area and i would get headaches from carbon monoxide after driving for a while. its a 2.5" from the cat back. it sounds real good.

we went to the junk yard and got a new brake booster (used off an 93) to replace mine that had gone out... omg i didn't realized what brakes were suppose to feel like. it started going out over a year ago, so it nice to have brakes again.

we got new cross bars and supports for the roof rack, my stock bars broke last summer and were duct taped back together. the new ones will hold alot more weight and and alot more secure.

we also found out why my KC lights stopped working. the ground wire is too small and was over heating.

i also cleaned out the inside, (hadnt been done in a couple of months )

my truck is much happier now. it'll get an oil change, and a new rear axle seals this week too.

Is the 93 a double diaphram booster? I hear that the double diaphrams boosters make a significant increase in braking power and consistency. I need to r/r mine sometime soon...another thing to the list.

idk if its the double diaphram, but i can tell you my 4runner has never stopped like this before, even when i first bought it. the brakes just grab now, its amazing.

Brian, when I look at the schematic for a 93 4x4 4runner it looks like a double diaghram. might have to check it out myself!
