broken torsion bar mount
#22
If you think about it that end piece of the t-bar has to be able to rock or slide in the cradle when you adjust the t-bars. Your's was just rusted so bad it looked like it used to be welded on place. In fact, I think I remember putting grease there now to make the t-bar adjustment easier. Oh well, at least the mount was only $10, maybe they will take it back.
It also looks like your bolt is still intact because that's what seems to be holding the t-bar end up in the air.
My guess is something broke at the other end, or maybe the bar itself.

ok i just looked at it i think i must have stripped the end that conects to the upper control arm and it clicked some teeth over and i prob need to get new tortion bars and i might as well get the brackets that mount to the upper control arm. im going to throw it on the lift later and look further into it but i think this is what happend because the bar isnt broke and the mount is ok so it must be the other end.
