We are the reason why 80% of Toyota's sold 20 years ago are still on the road. Good job Ian.

Man, you remind me of myself when i rebuilt my old motor.

I had pieces of cardboard, and a sharpie.
I drew EVERYTHING out, and i put the bolts in the exact holes so i wouldn't forget haha.

Looks good man. Stick with it! Your almost done!

your engine isn't yellow... therefore, i didn't steal it. however, you're going to be rebuilding an engine of your own soon (i assume?). gonna paint that?

I just read about your washer trouble...if a copper washer is giving you troubles all you have to do is heat it up till glowing with a torch or even a gas stove. Then drop it in a glass of cold water. Vwalah! Soft new copper gasket all ready to go like new!

Cool videos, ...I see you have that "Mic-Clip" thing that I get! lol. Sounds great, Ian. Not trying to be negative or anything, ...just curious, is that a lil tiny exhaust 'prrrrffffft' I hear? lol.

Hope you're safe in the storms! CONGRATZ, IAN!

i'd have to listen again, but i hear the leak, too. not sure where, but at least it's not that bad

"mic-clip"? i think that's just the wrist strap hitting the case.

and the storms passed well to the south of here. no worries

Good stuff Ian!
Adjust those valves, that will help quiet it down a bit. You said it's quiet but it sounds a bit clackity from the video, either way, if you haven't adjusted the valves in a while they could use it.
It's a great feeling to do a major engine maintenance and have success. Plus you added the alternator mod.
Leave the shroud off since it needs to come out for the Efan. Unless you start getting overheating in stop and go. It could also affect your a/c, wouldnt be as cold
