I cut down some speaker boxes that came with the truck and mounted them were the seats would be, shot the back carpet black, and put the platform back in

Im thinking I may just stay with the ratchet straps for now the platform is secure an I can remove/replace it in < 1 min but the blues gotta go im lookin for some black or camo which I have only catch is it has to have a short length on the ratcht side to stay below the platform. Bonus if I can find the camo short ones nobody will be able to see them

Well took the yota to south bay for opening day of duck season bout 80 miles one way towing my buddys 15ft jon boat and was a lil nervous as is the longest run so far and the first towing anything but couldent have been happier with the results. She ran perfect, 68-70 the whole way, dropped and picked the boat no problem on the ramp that was nice but a lil steep and very wet on friday in 2H(my old 87 v6 ranger had ta be in 4Lo to do anything...ever). These are some great trucks 26 years old an still kickin ass.

Also spent the night friday at the ramp as we went a day early to scout it out and got to break in the sleepin platform and that work great as well, very cool just sleepin in the truck and acually being pretty comfortable. My back is pretty screwed from a few bike wrecks so I occasionally sleep on the floor anyway as it seems to kinds pop things back in place a bit, so the carpet covered plywood was fine altho if I was camping for more then a 2 or 3 days I would prolly get some kind of foam cushion pad or somthing to lay on just cause the hips(more bike wrecks you would think I would learn my lesson) get a bit stiff on the hard surface for to long.

Anyway gota luv the YOTA
