Brake Upgrade?

Brake Upgrade?
Will the S13 calipers that are used on 94+ 4runners & T100's directly replace the S12's I have on my '90 SR5 4x4? I know that I would have to swap the rotors and use the appropriate pads but will this change be considered an "upgrade" to my existing brakes? Is it good for more clamping power than what I have now?
