Brake issues

Hey sup guys.

Ever since the first time I took my runner wheeling the brakes have been screwy.

First off, the pedal goes almost to the floor when I push the brake. Unless I pump it. Like if I press the brake once real quick then hold then it feels right.

Second, it feels like my front brakes are doing all the braking. Unless I do the pump.

Third, I can pull my ebrake wayyy out now and it doesnt work.

Any ideas?

pull off your wheels and check your rear brakes, the ebrake thing kinda rules out fluid, since it is mechanical

maybe some air in your brake lines?? cant say anything about the ebrake, except to take a look at it and just readjust it.

Yeup and Yeup... The general problem sounds like the brakes need to be bled out - like you say, to remove some air.

ebrake wise... yeup, given that it's cable operated, and not affected by air in the hydraulic lines, then that's looking for the "normal" adjustment process.

If it's been doing this since you went wheeling, then you probably messed something up. Check under the passenger side for the e-brake mechanicals; you may have ripped it apart.

Thanks for the replies. Ive already looked at the ebrake cable and it looks like its fine.

Im going to pull the wheels off this weekend to have a look at the brakes themselves. Also bleed the brakes too.
