bolt on v.s. welded rock sliders

I have been thinking about it for about it for a year now and have decided that i want to sell chrome rollbar, 4 chrome kc on top and chrome nerfbars and chrome wheels and go with a black theme. I would rather buy some bolt on rocksliders because i dont know how to weld (not that I dont know a ton of people that weld professionally) what would u guys recommend weld or bolt on as far a strength and quality goes? thanks in advance

If you know someone who welds... weld them on. Use square plate at the frame in a diamond configuration and may wish to add gussets to the top of the bar at the frame.

If you think you might change your color scheme again in a year or two...bolt 'em on.

When I first started modding my truck I was hesitant to weld anything. So, I bolted my sliders using 1/4" angle iron and self tapping 3/8" bolts, 4 bolts on each leg (2 up through the bottom of the frame and 2 through the side), 3 legs per slider.

That was 4 years ago...

Since then I have wheeled quite a bit and I use my sliders. The sliders have worked flawlessly and have never moved.

I've got 4crawler's bolt on ones and they've never moved or loosened. I've dragged them over rocks and lifted the truck with them. If you want bolt on ones I highly recommend them.
