I'd imagine that TTORA is a shop somewhere. All that like is ment to do is show you that is can be done and that its actually better then a SAS on a IFS frame. Go to 4x4wire.com and pirate4x4.com and post up the question "SAS on a 2wd frame howto?" someone there must have done it at least once that could guide you. Although it really shouldn't be any different then a SAS on an IFS frame.

I think TTORA is toyota truck off road association, just a local 4 wheeling club. I think the easiest thing to do in your situation is to swap the fuel injected engine into the 4wd chassis, swap the 2wd gas tank/fuel lines to the 4wd frame (the 2wd tank isn't as deep so just swapping the in-tank fuel pump is not an option), mount your 2wd cab/box, and swap out the wiring harness from a fuel injected truck. As long as the interior of the cab is stripped to R&R the harness, it's a good time to do a clean wiring job on an awesome sound system! That's the best option to take if you don't want to weld anything.

You could make anything fit if your willing to make it work. The pre 84 frame is different and somewhat weaker. You could use a n 84/85 frame. If you don't want to weld then yes swap the frame. The SAS is really not that hard a concept to get your head around and some guys do them in a weekend, you will have to either weld yourself or find a good friend to do it for you.

I guess you'll have to get out the 'ol tape measure and measure the distance between mounting holes on both frames and compare. The boxes are interchangeable, but I don't know about the cabs.
