blown head gasket!!

My head gasket blew in my 3vze yesterday.. Oil is milky?!? Would i be fine in just replacing gaskets or could it have done damage to my bearings?!? Plz help

If you stopped it as soon as possible and didn't keep driving it everywhere like that then theoretically speaking the mechanical parts are fine. It doesn't take but several seconds to mix water with oil and turn it milky. Now as far as replacing the gaskets, do a search on these forums. Do a fair amount of research if youre not familiar with the problem as it's very common on what many sadly call the '3.Slow'. I have not personally tackled this project myself but I have an 89 4runner waiting on me to do such. When i do it I will be using MLS(Multi Layer Steel) head gaskets and I hope to find ARP head studs. At the very least do not use the original head bolts as they can twist or stretch from the research Ihave done.
