Blower motor RPM adjustment knob?

Blower motor RPM adjustment knob?
92 Pickup 4x4 22RE: Behind the glove box, I noticed an adjustment knob that says RPM, so I assumed it would adjust the blower motor fan speed but seems to do nothing. What is this knob for? Thanks.

Ahh, that makes sense. It is attached above the evaporator box. Now I have to set it back to where it supposed to be, thanks! Anyone know the proper idle RPM when A/C is on?
