blower/heater resistor.
hey guys and gals.
just wondering, i purchased a newer/better condition heater resistor tonight. I didnt get a change to preform the ohms test on it yet, but i was looking at it and i noticed that one little part of that grey cement stuff that is ontop of it has a little crack. Now, will it not work? because my last one that i got from the salvage yard got smooshed in my tool box after i got it
but now i get the 2 higher speeds. and that one had alot of cement cracks. so i was wondering, what type of cement can i use to replicate the grey cement that it comes with??
Thanks alot

Well, something like that. Im not sure the exact route without seeing a wiring digram, but I know power travels from the switch through the resistor to the blower motor.
