Center console different with rear heat?
Starting in on my custom center console. My truck has the rear heater, but the lines to it cracked years ago and it's been disconnected. I always wished the storage compartment in the center console wasn't so pathetically tiny.
Anyway, I pulled the console out, and then the blower/heater assembly, and started plotting how to modify the console to utilize the extra space, and I started thinking....
Not all 4runners had the rear heater, did they? If not, did they have a different center console?

Yes they did the centre console on trucks without rear heat are dual level units. The lower portion is about 4" deep and the upper portion is about 3" deep.
