BLKNBLU Bling

Got some new stuff for the truck.

Bling phase 1: Got a new LCE exhaust system

Thought I better get a shot of this tip since I'm going wheeling this w/e and I fear it won't look like this much longer considering how low it hangs.

Bling phase 2: I won some free powdercoating on another board from Loudin's Powdercoating

And here it is installed.

Also would like to mention that I bought a seperate cover to send to Jeremy (callmej75 here on the board)to minimize downtime. If anyone is interested in this and wants mine to do the same thing just let me know. I gave $20 for mine and will let mine go for the same (plus shipping) and I could ship it directly to Loudins Powdercoating if you would like. Here is what I've got.

One last time, thank you to Loudins Powdercoating.

That chrome tip is surely doomed !!!!!!

Everything looks good. Piece by piece and it all eventually gets done.

Spiffy... lol. I wouldn't have gone out looking for this kind of thing , but since I got it free (or with only a small effort) I figured, why not? Also think it will be easier to keep clean.

The powdercoat? Won it free in a giveaway. The header? $350something from LCE. As far as power gains, it's the usual. I sense a bit more torque or throttle response but I sure couldn't prove it. Just seat of the pants stuff.

I can't really verify it. All the parts sites I look at automatically switch to the 3.0 after '93 as if the 4cyl didn't exist. Maybe someone who knows more can give us a holler.

Thanks everyone for the compliments.

OK. A couple of interested parties. Obviously the local guy has a big advantage since he can come look at it. GenXr, here is the only reference I could find to fitment and they are hardly an authority: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/POWDE...2em118Q2el1247
Since I have a similar thread posted on another board and I can't rule out a sale there either, I guess I have to go with a "first one with $$" stance.

Bingo! I'll have to modify it eventually, but for now I'll just beat the piss out of it.

ok, I checked with the dealer to see if it will fit and it will not fit my truck. The only years that match up to the part number for my truck are 93 through 95 so I can't use it. Unfortunate for me because I really like the way it looks on BLKNBLU's rig!

Just as an FYI, the dealer said a new one was only $350. After he quoted me that price he emphasized it was solid aluminum.....I think more to reassure himself that that was a good deal.

We both had a good laugh.
