Bit the bullet...
I tried and pretty much had to go the cheap route on distributor cap, rotor bug, spark plug and igniter wires
I had a tiny bit of flutter, other ignition related issues so, i bought these
OEM toyota dealership parts...
$127 For the kit which included all the parts listed below
HOLY COW what a difference in quality... no more flutter we'll see about fuel mileage and performance
I suspect it will change things...

I know several people have browsed this forum and think I must be crazy for constantly recommending Genuine Toyota parts for our 25+ year old vehicles.
It looks like you found out why.
Genuine Toyota parts really do make a difference, and are worth the much higher prices over the cheap parts store bargain bin!
Enjoy the OEM goodness.

I got a few OEM parts for cheap on EBAY and the seller was a Toyota dealer. Got OEM fuel sending unit for my truck and sunvisor for wife's Camry. (the sunvisors are weak link on '08 Camrys)
