Binding issue while in 4 wheel drive

So the other day I hit a patch of black ice and slid into the barrier on the high way. I hit the front left wheel hard enough to tear the side wall and knock the bead of the tire off. Now when I shift into 4 wheel drive it pulls to the left and when I actually turn left it seems to bind up and not want to go anywhere. When I changed the rim and tire I noticed some play in the wheel bearing (grabbing the top and bottom of the tire i could feel it shift a little). I'm sure some of you have had similar accidents and may know off hand what this may be. I have worked on plenty of solid axles and some axle shafts on front wheel drive cars, but have limited knowledge with this birfield or longfield set up toyotas have. It only seems to bind when making left turns, though I haven't wanted to drive on it that much while in 4x4. Any help would be appreciated. Need to figure out if this is something I can tackle in my parking garage (limited hand tools and light) or if I need to man up and take it in.

What yer truck are you working on? Soild axle of IFS? IFS uses CVs, while Solid axles use birfields (longfield is a brand of them)

I would jack it up and spin/turn the wheel, check the cv/diff for any binding.
