Belt Question

Hey, I was replacing my valve cover gaskets today and it wasn't too much more work to take a look at my timing belt, but the problem is I don't know what a worn timing belt looks like. I am not sure of my truck's maintenance records as I just purchased it in Sept. Are there any signs I can see on the belt to see that it needs/doesn't need to be replaced? Should I just do it anyway? Thanks.

Chris

Cracking rubber, fraying, glazing, etc etc are all signs of a worn tirming belt.
