Battery tray part # for Group 24 battery

My 1990 4x4 and my 1991 RV cab & chassis (both 3VZE's) both have the 55D23 plastic battery tray which works for a Group 25 battery, but is a bit too short for a Group 24. Does anyone know the part number for the tray that will hold a Group 24 battery in the stock right side battery support? I have lost a group 24 battery to each, one while wheeling and had the battery shift into the PS pulley and the other because unknown to me the person I bought the RV from has used a wooden shim spacer to secure the battery which loosened and suffered a similar fate as the first. Thanks!

The 1st gen tray is discontinued. Just get one off Amazon. I saw NOCO offers one. I have one of their battery boxes and it's very well made. And get the right size battery. No shims.

Yeah, thanks Jimkola, I may need to go that route. Before I do there are a few on eBay and I may take a trip to Pick-N-Pull, I would prefer having the original style tray that has the nubs that lock into the steel bracket underneath. Besides the tray stamped 55D23 that I have I see the 80D26R as an option which LOOKS longer in photos but the battery dimensions for that group battery do not match the 10.25" of the group 24 that so many folks are using. So a more brief question is "will the 80D26 tray fit the dimensions of a group 24 battery"? Thanks again.

No idea. And don't know if the bumps on the bottom would line up with the holes on your metal plate.
